Type locality: Saint Thomas and Saint Vincent, Antiiles
Distribution range: Circumtropical. Western Atlantic: Florida to Brazil (Valdés et al. 2006); Brazil: Fernando de Noronha Archipelago (Smith, E. A. 1890).
Depth: 0-20 m
Size: up to 20 mm
Remarks: photo (by Renato Britto) of a specimen from Brazil.
